Welcome to the UCSC Resiliency Planning site.  Here, you will find the emergency and continuity programs that comprise UCSC's Resiliency Program. 

Is your department just getting started with resiliency planning?  Please contact the Office of Emergency Services at oes@ucsc.edu, to request a resiliency strategy meeting.    

How we can help - Emergency Services will provide resources and guidance for risk assessment, business impact analysis, mitigation, mutual aid, emergency management, safety compliance, business continuity management, and employee personal emergency preparedness.

Resiliency Liaison's Role

  1. Contact the Office of Emergency Services to establish an initial planning meeting: oes@ucsc.edu
  2. Identify and delegate continuity planners and emergency roles
  3. Champion resiliency advancements by all units
  4. Distribute Emergency Services resiliency communications

Emergency and Continuity Roles

By delegating resiliency liaisons, your department is establishing the necessary framework for creating a safer, more sustainable work environment.  These resiliency roles will receive training from the Office of Emergency Services to facilitate department-level risk assessment, emergency response and business continuity. 

Training

Visit the UCSC Learning Center for resiliency training opportunities. At the Learning Center, query the class title to find current dates for available.
